Our Mission

Our mission is to use our personal relationships and professional skills to help improve the lives of our patients. We are a diverse team of individuals who come together in our professional lives to provide excellent dental health care to the Central Mountain community of Colorado. We are dedicated to providing personalized services that enhance the lives of appreciative patients, in a positive environment that fosters understanding and mutual respect with our patients and co-workers.

Protective Measures
For your protection, we adhere to infection control procedures known as universal precautions. We use the same infection control measures for each patient. We are happy to discuss these procedures with you.

Our Standard of Continuing Care
It is our practice to offer the highest standard of continuing care that will include proper diagnosis and treatment planning through annual examinations with the dentist. During your examination, you will have an oral cancer screening, a periodontal (gum) charting of your current condition, and complete review of any dental treatment required and offered oral hygiene instructions. Depending on your diagnosis, it will also be suggested for you to return for continuing care. Continuing care includes an exam and either a dental prophylaxis (preventive) or periodontal maintenance two or more times a year. A dental prophylaxis is performed to remove coronal (above the gum line) plaque, calculus and stains.
We also apply a fluoride treatment for children and those adult patients who can benefit from it.  Periodontal maintenance is for patients who have previously been treated for periodontal disease. These services are in addition to any required treatment for your diagnosed condition during the examination.

Treatment Plan
After diagnosis, the dentist will provide you with a complete treatment plan. This plan will include the details of the prescribed treatment and any appointments you schedule for the listed services. It is our goal to print a copy of the treatment plan for you to take home after each visit as long as prescribed treatment exists in your chart. Additionally, this plan will prepare you for your estimated financial portion of the prescribed treatment.

Payments for services are expected on the date of service unless a prior financial arrangement has been previously agreed upon with the administrative team. Our dental software system has the ability to estimate your insurance coverage and will display your estimated portion once we submit a claim to your insurance company. Your estimated portion is due on the date of service and we will notify you if the estimate was either short or over the amount we collect from you once we receive the explanation of benefits from your insurance company. For your convenience, we accept cash, in-state checks, credit cards and CareCredit. CareCredit is a financing program available to those who qualify offering 90-day, interest-free payment plans in addition to other options. Ask our administrative team if you would like to learn more about this program.

Late Payments
All late payments, past 30 days, will incur a finance charge of 18% per annum.

Our office accepts all insurance plans and will submit to your dental insurance to receive the benefits your individual plan offers. We are now in network providers for Guardian Dental Insurance and Delta Dental Premier of Colorado. We ask that if you are uncertain if your insurance will still offer benefits if you see a dentist outside of the approved PPO, that you call and confirm that with your insurance company prior to any treatment. Please keep in mind that even though you do have insurance, not all procedures prescribed by your dentist may be covered by your plan. Because there are so many variations in insurance plans today, we hope you understand that we cannot know exactly what your insurance plan will cover but we are happy to help you with any insurance questions you may have. As a service to you, we submit the proper claims with any additional information we can provide for your insurance company to review for benefit reimbursement. If we have provided all information requested and the claim is still outstanding after 60 days from the original submittal date, you are responsible for the remainder of payment.

As we attempt to provide the same level of respect and courtesy to all of our patients that request our time and care, we must charge a minimum of $50 and not to exceed $200 for any failed appointment and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice that prevents us from seeing another valued patient, with the exception of legitimate and reasonable cause for cancellation. To help you with remembering your appointment, it is our practice to remind you at home or at work in advance of your appointment to confirm it with you. We now use an automated messaging system that will send you a text or e-mail to confirm your appointments. If you prefer we contact you at one number only, please specify to our administrative team and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We thank you for reading through this letter to familiarize yourself with our goals and objectives. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions of our staff. It is our privilege to have you join our family of patients and we look forward to many years of dental care for your overall health and well-being.
